Fire engineering at the crossroads – FPA insight

Dr Jim Glockling – Technical Director, Fire Protection Association

It does not seem too long since we last heard from Jim on what he was focusing on in the Fire Protection Association.  Yet developments have changed the fire scene so much in that time – most of which have been ongoing and troubling, one sudden and tragic.

Whether your interest lies particularly in the subject of tall buildings, cladding, suppression, smarter AFA or FRS response, Jim will be bringing valuable new insights into current work in FPA and RISCAuthority, including the important activities in FPA’s laboratory facility, and how this work can be taken forward to the benefit of all stakeholders and the community at large.
